- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My experience didn't get past the phone call. A 2 hr wait just to have the nurse call back?!? And of course the priority is making sure all the ins info is correct, not the well being of the patient. I called at 9am btw. So needless to say by the time the nurse called back my son had ibuprophen in him and the pain subsided so he no longer wanted to go see the doc. And actually, if it took 2 hrs, on the dot ( Yes, call back was at 11am) for a nurse to call back, how long would the wait be when we got there? The last time we used urgent care my out of pocket was over $1,000!!!!!! bcbs ppo does not recognize this facility in any catagorys. Emergency room is $75. Soooooo......my options are wait hrs at home while I watch my son in pain or go to emergency. I guess it's time to look for new drs. too bad, liked my sons dr, but don't need to be treated like a AAA member. People are a little more important than cars.Don't let that star deceive you.
